The GE800-DO is a heavy-duty radial spherical plain bearing engineered for industrial applications involving high-magnitude radial loads and significant tilting movements. Featuring a massive 800mm bore and a 1060mm outside diameter, this steel-on-steel (DO) configuration utilizes a manganese phosphate-treated sliding surface coated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS_2) to minimize initial frictional torque. Unlike standard bearings, its fractured outer ring design ensures a precise fit around the spherical inner ring, allowing the unit to accommodate multidirectional misalignment while maintaining a basic dynamic load rating of approximately 35,100 kN.
