The SL014940 (also known as the NNC4940V) is a heavy-duty, double-row full complement cylindrical roller bearing designed to handle extreme radial loads where space is at a premium. Measuring 200 mm x 280 mm x 80 mm, this unit intentionally omits a traditional cage to fit the maximum possible number of rollers between its solid inner and outer rings. This "full complement" design significantly boosts its load-carrying capacity and rigidity, making it much tougher than standard caged bearings of the same size.
