The SL024976 is a heavy-duty, double-row full complement cylindrical roller bearing engineered for applications requiring maximum radial load capacity within a compact design. Featuring a 380mm bore and 520mm outside diameter, its "full complement" design eliminates the traditional cage, allowing for the highest possible number of rolling elements to be packed into the 140mm wide frame. This configuration provides exceptional rigidity and a massive static load rating (around 5,500 kN), making it ideal for the intense pressures found in gearboxes, heavy machinery, and industrial drives. Despite its robust build, it maintains a manageable limiting speed of approximately 680 rpm. The non-locating design allows for axial displacement, compensating for thermal expansion of the shaft during operation, while its high-grade steel construction ensures long-term durability under harsh, high-torque conditions.
