Do you know what a cable pulley bearing is?

Cable pulley bearings (cylindrical roller bearings with stop grooves in the outer ring) are also called roller bearings for pulleys and are positioning bearings. This type of bearing has very good rigidity and can withstand high radial loads and moderate bidirectional axial loads. The bearing consists of inner and outer rings with ribs, cylindrical rollers guided by the ribs, and sealing rings. Figure 1.
The outer ring of the bearing has a stop groove for installing a stop ring. The inner ring has an axially split structure and is connected together through rigid parts. The inner ring of the bearing is 1mm wider than the outer ring.
The seals on both sides of the sealed cable pulley bearing can prevent foreign matter such as external pollutants and water vapor from entering the inside of the bearing. For unsealed positioning bearings, oil lubrication and grease lubrication can be carried out through the lubricating oil grooves and lubricating oil holes on the outer ring.

Limited by grease and sealing materials, the suitable operating temperature for cable pulley bearings (cylindrical roller bearings with stop grooves in the outer ring) is between - 20° C and +80° C. The suitable operating temperature range of unsealed full complement cylindrical roller bearings is - 30° C to +120° C.
The cable pulley bearing achieves axial positioning by installing a stop ring in the stop groove of the outer ring, as shown in Figure 2. Stop rings are generally not included in the scope of supply of standard bearings. The double inner ring must be fixed axially, and the rigid connector must not bear axial load.
During the installation and disassembly process of cable pulley bearings, the assembly force must not be transmitted directly through the rolling elements, sealing rings or rigid connectors on the double inner rings. The dimensional tolerances and geometric tolerances of the bearings meet the standards, and the standard bearings are P0 level.
