① The radial size of the bearing section is small, and the roll neck can be designed larger without increasing the size of the bearing box, thus improving the strength and life of the roll.
② The cylindrical rolling elements in the bearing have high radial load-carrying capacity. When used in conjunction with deep groove ball bearings that can bear axial force, the service life can be greatly extended.
③The main components, inner and outer races and rolling elements, are manufactured and assembled with higher precision and smaller friction coefficient, especially suitable for high-speed rolling mills.
④The inner race and the roll neck are in static fit, and the outer diameter of the bearing inner ring is used as the grinding standard of the roll surface. Therefore, the concentricity between the inner ring raceway and the roll surface is better than that of the tapered bearing inner ring and the roll neck in dynamic fit. This avoids possible periodic thickness changes on the strip, that is, same-plate contrast.
⑤This bearing consists of two sets of double-row bearings closely adjacent to each other. Each pair of outer rings and their matching rolling elements can be matched with any pair of inner rings and are replaceable. When changing rollers, there is no need to remove the inner ring of the bearing from the roll neck.
