Products Description
22316E/C3 Spherical Roller Bearing with self-aligning capability are designed with double rows of rollers. The outer ring features a single shared spherical raceway, while the inner ring has two raceways that are inclined at an angle to the bearing axis. This clever construction allows the bearing to automatically align itself, making it less susceptible to errors caused by misalignment between the shaft and the bearing housing or shaft deflection. It is suitable for situations where installation errors or angular misalignment occur due to shaft bending. In addition to withstanding radial loads, these bearings are also capable of handling bidirectional axial loads.
The inner bore of the spherical roller bearing can be either cylindrical or tapered. The tapered bore comes in two variations: 1:30 and 1:12. By using a tight fit or a loose fit adapter sleeve, the tapered bore bearings can be easily and quickly mounted on a shaft, whether it is a plain shaft or a stepped shaft.
